恭讀聖瑪竇福音 12:38-42
那時，有幾個經師和法利塞人對耶穌說：「師傅，我們願意你顯示一個徵兆給我們看。」他回答他們說：「邪惡淫亂的世代要求徵兆，但除了約納先知的徵兆外，必不給它其他的徵兆。有如約納曾在大魚腹中三天三夜：同樣，人子也要在地裏三天三夜。尼尼微人在審判時，將同這一代人起來，定他們的罪，因為尼尼微人因了約納的宣講而悔改了；看，這裏有一位大於約納的！南方的女王，在審判時，將同這一代人起來，而定他們的罪，因為她從地極而來，聽撒羅滿的智慧；看，這裏有一位大於撒羅滿的！」

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 12:38-42

38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to him, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.” 39 But he answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign; but no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale, so will the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men of Nin’eveh will arise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here. 42 The queen of the South will arise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.

祥話短說 (2010年7月18日)

最低工資，是城中熱門話題。大部份的顧員要求每小時$33。坊間的回響，卻有些出入。部份中小型企業顧主，非不為也，不能也，而顧員亦體諒；可惜，特別是大財團的顧主，非不能也，不為也。何解？因為上市的關係，要保持某百份比的盈利。
究其因，地產商實要承擔部份的責任，因為租金偏高，使經營任何工種的人士，都百上加實斤。無怪乎官商勾結之聲，不絕於耳。當然這是不盡不實的控訴，因為香港還是崇尚自由經濟的社會。一天人若不改變向『錢』看的態度，就算定下了最底工資，人的尊嚴還是被壓在『金錢至上』底下。
今天的社會，還是需要心靈上的改造，否則任何方案，只是治標不治本。
一九九一年五月，普世博愛運動創始人盧嘉肋女士(Chiara Lubich)在巴西訪問時，提出『共融經濟』(Economy of Communion)方案，以解決當地貧富懸殊的社會現象。這方案現成了許多學者研究的科學。
這方案很簡單，便是要求顧主把利潤分三份：一份用作濟貧，一份用作心靈教育，最後一份才用作企業發展。短線看來，利潤非常微薄，但長線看來，民生已大為改善。問題的核心是：以『人』為本或以『金錢』為本？
