祝聖拉特朗大殿 (慶日)

恭讀聖若望福音 2:13-22

猶太人的逾越節近了，耶穌便上去耶路撒冷。在殿院裏，他見了賣牛、羊、鴿子的，和坐在錢莊上兌換銀錢的人，就用繩索做了一條鞭子，把眾人連羊帶牛，從殿院裏趕出去，傾倒了換錢者的銀錢，推翻了他們的桌子；給賣鴿子的人說：「把這東西從這裏拿出去，不要使我父的殿宇成為商場。」他的門徒就想起了經上記載的話：「我對你殿宇所懷的熱忱，把我耗盡」。猶太人便間他說：「你給我們顯什麼神蹟，證明你有權柄作這些事？」耶穌回答他們說：「你們拆毀這座聖殿，三天之內，我要把它重建起來。」猶太人就說：「這座聖殿建築了四十六年，你在三天之內就會把它重建起來嗎？」但耶穌所說的聖所是指他自己的身體。所以，當他從死者中復活以後，他的門徒就想起了他曾說過這話，便相信了聖經和耶穌說過的話。

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to John 2:13-22

13 The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.14 In the temple he found those who were selling oxen and sheep and pigeons, and the money-changers at their business. 15 And making a whip of cords, he drove them all, with the sheep and oxen, out of the temple; and he poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. 16 And he told those who sold the pigeons, “Take these things away; you shall not make my Father’s house a house of trade.” 17 His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for thy house will consume me.” 18 The Jews then said to him, “What sign have you to show us for doing this?” 19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” 20 The Jews then said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?” 21 But he spoke of the temple of his body. 22 When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this; and they believed the scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.

Making a home for others

A generous person, who has found his home in God, must become in turn a home for many others. We can offer each other a spiritual home and this is a real task. To make a home for someone means being disinterested. Paul speaks of a constant flow of people. He would like to be “all things to all men.”
If we manage to give ourselves in this disinterested way to people, and to offer them a spiritual homeland, we will more easily lead them to their homeland in God. If something is lacking, it means that a link in the chain is not in the right place. We must therefore enable people to make homes for one another.

为他人创立家园

一个在天主内找到寓所的高贵之人，也应该成为许多人的寓所。我们有一个确切的任务，就是相互提供一个神修的家园。对我来说，成为他人的家园，就是不容自己有任何私心杂念。保禄宗徒谈到“人群川流不息”，他愿意“对一切人，成为一切”。
如果我们能够以此方式把自己无私的奉献给他人，且为他们提供一个神修的家园，那么，我们将很容易地引领他们在天主内找到自己的家乡。若是依然有所缺乏，则说明有一链扣衔接不当。因此，需要众人相互地成为彼此的家园。

默　想

• 我們很多時也像猶太人一樣，若天主給我們一個什麼的啟示，我們才會心悅誠服。當然，耶穌很多時對我們的回答也是我們所不明白的。
• 一直到事情過了很久，我們回頭一望，便驀然發現，原來當初耶穌的意思是這樣，我們才恍然大悟，就像門徒一樣。
• 那時，我們便「真」的相信聖經和耶穌所說的話。大家回憶一下，你的經驗是不是這樣？
