A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark 6:30-34

30 The apostles returned to Jesus, and told him all that they had done and taught. 31 And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a lonely place, and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat. 32 And they went away in the boat to a lonely place by themselves. 33 Now many saw them going, and knew them, and they ran there on foot from all the towns, and got there ahead of them. 34 As he went ashore he saw a great throng, and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things.

恭讀聖馬爾谷福音　6:30-34

那時，宗徒們都回到耶穌跟前，將他們所作所教的一切，報告給耶穌。耶穌向他們說：「你們來，私下到荒野的地方去休息一會兒！」這是因為來往的人很多，以致他們連吃飯的工夫也沒有。他們便乘船私下往荒野的地方去了。人看見他們走了。許多人也知道他們要去的地方，便從各城徒步一起往那裡跑，且在他們以先到了。
耶穌一下船，看見一大夥群眾，就對他們動了憐憫的心，因為他們好像沒有牧人的羊，遂開口教訓他們許多事。

「你們來，私下到荒野的地方去休息一會兒!」(谷6:31)

耶穌不但要求門徒好好的休息，並且要他們彼此分享傳教的心得。

從路加福音的記述，我們可得見在門徒分享傳教的心得時，耶穌亦施以教導：
「那七十二人歡喜地歸來，說：『主，因著你的名號，連惡魔都屈服於我們。』

耶穌向他們說：『我看見撒殫如同閃電一般自天跌下。 看我已經授於你們權柄，使你們踐踏在蛇蠍上，並能制伏仇敵的一切勢力，沒有什麼能傷害你們。

但是，你們不要因為魔鬼屈服於你們的這件事而喜歡，你們應當喜歡的，乃是因為你們的名字，已經登記在天上了。』 」(路10:17-20)

『到荒野的地方去休息。』這是耶穌的生活習慣。因為在寧靜中，才容易收斂心神去祈禱。

在揀選宗徒前，「耶穌出去，上山祈禱；他徹夜向天主祈禱。 天一亮，衪把門徒叫來，由他們中揀選了十二人。」(路6:12-13)

吃完逾越節晚餐後，「耶穌出來，照常往橄欖上去，門徒也跟著去了。
到了那地方，耶穌便給他們說：『你們應該祈禱，免得陷於誘惑。』 」(路22:39-40)

若我們沒有靜下來的時間和空間，用心祈禱差不多是不可能的事。

耶穌一下船，看見一大夥群眾，就對他們動了憐憫的心，因為他們好像沒有牧人的羊，遂開口教訓他們許多事。

默　想

• 耶穌擁有一顆柔軟的心，即使祂不會多大認識這夥群眾，但敏銳的祂，已感應他們的痛苦、失落、需要。
• 今天的世代，整個環境容易把我們原本那敏銳的、富憐憫的心磨蝕，以致變得麻木、冷漠。重新投向基督的懷抱，重尋那份敏銳感、同理心，一如聖經中提及的一顆「肉心」。
• 一顆肉心是準備受傷的心，甚至不怕受傷的心。
• 想像今天你與耶穌相遇，你是否也體會祂對你的憐惜？你想有什麼被耶穌憐惜？在那地方，你很可能已同時間被祂治癒。
