恭讀聖瑪竇福音 9:18-26
耶穌正在說話的時候，有一位首長前來跪拜他說：「我的女兒剛才死了，可是請你來，把你的手放在她的身上，她必會活。」耶穌起來跟他去了，他的門徒也跟了去。看，有一個患血漏十二年的女人，從後面走近，摸了他的衣服繸頭，因為她心裏想：「只要我一摸他的衣服，我就會好了。」耶穌轉過身來，看著她說：「女兒，放心吧！你的信德救了你。」從那時起，那女人就好了。耶穌來到首長家裏，看見吹笛的和亂哄哄的群眾，就說：「你們走開吧！女孩子沒有死，只是睡著了。」他們都譏笑他。把群眾趕出去以後，耶穌就進去，拿起女孩子的手，小女孩就起來了。這消息傳遍了那整個地區。

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 9:18-26

18 While he was thus speaking to them, behold, a ruler came in and knelt before him, saying, “My daughter has just died; but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.” 19 And Jesus rose and followed him, with his disciples. 20 And behold, a woman who had suffered from a hemorrhage for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment; 21 for she said to herself, “If I only touch his garment, I shall be made well.” 22 Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well. 23 And when Jesus came to the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players, and the crowd making a tumult, 24 he said, “Depart; for the girl is not dead but sleeping.” And they laughed at him. 25 But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. 26 And the report of this went through all that district.

默　想

• 是什麼治好那婦人？耶穌認為是她自己的信德。從這事可以看到，天主的恩寵是常在的，只要我們夠膽放手去摸，這恩寵就屬你的了。
• 我們的問題是在於我們不知道自己真正需要的是什麼。時常求有錢、有工作、有良好的家庭……但是，我們卻放任我們內心的疾病於不顧。
• 天主的恩寵，是要治好我們內心的疾病，不會給我們別的東西。

（梵蒂岡電臺訊）羅馬是基督信仰的“首都”，因爲2千年來守護了聖伯多祿和聖保祿的墳墓。這幾天，由于對保祿石棺的探查所得到的肯定結果，令信友們的心情再度興奮起來。本台台長隆巴爾迪神父對這件事作了以下的反思，他說：

在結束保祿年之際，教宗本篤十六世宣布對聖保祿大殿祭台下石棺內保存之遺骸的科學研究結果，引起了整個天主教會的興奮激動情緒，這是可以理解的。教宗說，這似乎肯定了那個一致同意、無可爭議的傳統，就是：那是保祿宗徒的遺骸。過去，在宣布對聖伯多祿大殿下進行考古研究的結果時，教會內也爆發了同樣的興奮激動情緒。這個深入考古研究是教宗庇護十二世命令進行的，研究的結果毫不懷疑地肯定了在聖殿中央祭台下的梵蒂岡古老墳墓是伯多祿宗徒的墳墓。

羅馬是基督信仰的中心地，幷不因爲羅馬是古羅馬帝國的首都，而是因爲這城市爲兩位宗徒殉道的地方，這城市恭敬地守護了他們的墳墓。即使我們現代的文化對遺物的恭敬不及以往，然而，在我們之前的人，尤其是聖人們曾經生活與作見證的地方和有關的具體記憶，在瞭解我們的活潑信仰傳統的根基上，却仍然具有重大的價值。正如教宗說的，伯多祿和保祿，宣講福音的磐石和光，這兩位“如此不同”的耶穌的門徒，從某種意義來說，是相輔相成的，他們繼續把我們的目光和脚步吸引到羅馬，他們繼續生活在我們中間，指引我們的方向，令我們的信德更加熱烈，幷重新努力向天涯地角宣揚這信德。

What mighty works are wrought by his hands! 3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon, and are not his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him. 4 And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.” 5 And he could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands upon a few sick people and healed them. 6 And he marveled because of their unbelief. And he went about among the villages teaching.

「他們都譏笑他。」(瑪9:24)

無知的群眾譏笑耶穌，因為他說了：「女孩沒有死，只是睡著了。」
事實上，那女孩子的靈魂確已離開了肉身。因按路加的記載：「耶穌拿起她的手來，喊說：『女孩，起來!』她的靈魂回來了，她就立刻起來了。」(路8:55)
耶穌所說：「她並沒有死，只是睡著了。」我們可以這樣理解：「她仍活著，正生活在聖父的懷中。」
群眾譏笑耶穌，因為人類從沒有起死回生的經驗。
耶穌沒有和這批人理論。
耶穌把群眾趕出去以後，他就進去，拿起女孩子的手，小女孩就起來了。
結果，「他們都驚訝得目瞪口呆。」(谷5:42)
我們的生命，都是在天主手中。但祂不是在控制我們，而是在扶持我們，在保護我們，讓我們平安回到父家。
浪子回頭的故事，便可見證天父的大愛：「他離得還遠的時候，他父親就看見了他，他動了憐憫的心，跑上前去，撲到他的脖子上，熱情地親吻他。 兒子向他說：父親，我得罪了天，也得罪了你，我不配再稱作你的兒子了!
父親卻吩咐自己的僕人說：你們快拿出上等的袍子來給他穿上，把戒指戴在他手上，給他腳上穿上鞋， 再把那隻肥牛犢牽來宰了，我們應吃喝歡宴， 因為我這個兒子是死而復生，失而復得了。」(路15:20-24)
主，請賜給我們信德！
