Tsuen Wan is indeed a nice place which sees great changes and developments over the last 3 decades, in particular after the Mass Transit Railway was built, with preservation to a certain extent the historic buildings, the green areas, the scenic spots and the traditional way of living in some adjacent rural areas. I believe you would love Tsuen Wan as much as we "TsuenWanese" would love and respect you for the great service you performed and would continue to perform towards our benefits. 首先，我在下面所提到的數字，在過去五年，堂區通訊中的三個月一次的財務報告已經報告過，所以，我並沒有在職位上洩露秘密。
今天，我將由主任司鐸簽署的支票存入銀行，清還最後一筆多年來欠銀行的債務，心裡有莫名的快感。那時，第一個想起的人就是你。
2002年八月，在你接任為中華殉道聖人堂的主任司鐸時，我們尚欠銀行債務大約九十八萬；在你卸任時, 我們只欠銀行大約九萬多。你在本堂財務方面的處理和建樹，清楚可見。
在你離開三個多月後，我們今天將所有銀行的債務還清。我想第一時間告訴你，因為我想你是最想知道的人。除了要感謝天主對我們聖堂的眷顧外，我們不可以忽略你在我們堂區所作的一切。
還有，值得一提的是你所設立的聖召基金。你將教友給你為他們開彌撒的款項都撥作基金之用。除了幫助修生們的培育外，也幫助進修和出外體驗生活的教友。真的，很欣賞你的大方。
我在此向你作出衷心的謝意。祈求天主賜給你一切所需的恩寵。因你為教會的服務，更多人歸向主。
