“Until now you have not asked anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.” (John 16:24) From the scripture of the “Lord’s Prayer” which Jesus taught the disciples, we can see the connotation of the prayer includes: (The forepart) A petition that God manifests His glory by an act of power, and by the establishment of His kingdom in the world where mankind execute His will on earth. (The latter part) A petition asking God to give individuals their daily needs and the forgiveness of sins and lead us not into temptation. In the gospel of Matthew, Jesus reaffirmed His teachings patiently, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Why is God so generous? Simply because God is “Love”; the essence of “Love” is “Giving” which also means “Sharing”: "Take and eat, drink from it, all of you.” “I have washed your feet, you ought to wash one another's feet.” “For the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve!” To live under the form of true love, the outcome will certainly be joyful. Additionally, when we are living within mutual love, Jesus is always in our midst.
