"I have shown you many good works from my Father.” (John 10:32) Many Fathers believed that the mystery of Trinity has not yet been revealed in the Old Testament. Therefore, when Jesus said, “The Father and I are one”, the Jews took up stones to stone him for blasphemy, as he claimed himself to be God. However, Jesus did not change his words because of that; he only stressed that although they would not believe him, they should believe in the work he did. He said firmly, “ then you will know for sure that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.” (John 10:38) The Jews refused to believe because it was a new thing. They dared not believe that they were already living in a joyful “new heaven and new earth”. If there is a lack of confidence, everything will become impossible. No wonder Jesus taught Saint Faustina only one simple but significant prayer: "Jesus, I trust in You!"
