"Take courage, it is I do not be afraid." (Matthew 14:27) What peaceful words to our heart and soul! When Jesus is with us, what do we have to fear? At one time, Jesus and his disciples were on the same boat. He was asleep. As the storm came up, the disciples cried out loud for help! It shows how little faith we are. "I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20) Our faith is weak, but we can still ask for help. Before Jesus healed a child who was possessed by a mute spirit, (See Mark 9:14-24), his father replied to Jesus, "I do believe, help my unbelief!" We should also learn from Mary our heavenly mother, she originally decided to hold lifelong chastity, in virtue of God's invitation, she said to the angel without hesitation, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word." (Luke 1:38) What we have to accomplish is to practice God's Holy will. We believe that His will is the way we should live out in perfection. His arrangement is to help us move forward to a promising future, therefore, we do not need to fear. For believers with faith, the cross is a sign to walk with God. No matter where we are, peace belongs to us, because God is with us. The most perfect way of living is to think of what Jesus thought. Even though we cannot completely understand the Bible, the specific way of living (with love), has already fulfilled the insufficient part of our knowledge. We pray to the Holy Spirit to grant us a heart of simplicity and humility, and to practice the teachings of Jesus: Love one another. As I have loved you.
