"I cannot do anything on my own; I judge as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me.” (John 5:30) In another occasion, Jesus said the same: “because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me. And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything of what he gave me, but that I should raise it (on) the last day.” (John 6:38-39) Jesus emphasized that God’s will is “I wouldn’t let go of one”, as well as “I will raise him”. Suffering on the cross, Jesus said: “I’m thirsty”. Jesus is yearning for the salvation of each and every one of us, so we could all be saved. Jesus had also granted us the way in order to be raised:”Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.” (John 6:54) Either a righteous person or a sinner, both would be raised from the death, the difference is the righteous person will forever be living in the love of the Trinity, while the sinner will forever be condemning God’s kindness and beauty. The destiny of a sinner is never the will of God. The sufferings of Jesus were meant for everyone of us. Though God is almighty, He remains impartial on our stubbornness (being the choice of our free will). Never the less,”From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent are taking it by force. (Matthew 11:12) Besides, walking the way to God’s kingdom is highly adventurous and risky. Jesus explained with the ‘Parable of the Seeds’ as follow: “The seed sown on the path is the one who hears the word of the kingdom without understanding it, and the evil one comes and steals away what was sown in his heart. The seed sown on rocky ground is the one who hears the word and receives it at once with joy. But he has no root and lasts only for a time. When some tribulation or persecution comes because of the word, he immediately falls away. The seed sown among thorns is the one who hears the word, but then worldly anxiety and the lure of riches choke the word and it bears no fruit.” (Matthew 13:19-22) Only those who journeyed cautiously and eagerly following each footstep of the Lord will be able to go at ease towards the kingdom of heaven. Jesus, I trusted in you.
