“Jesus came home. Again (the) crowd gathered, making it impossible for them even to eat.” (Mark 3:20) Jesus did not even have the time to eat, because he placed the needs of the people as his first priority. Moreover, He performed the miracle of multiplication of bread twice for he cared about whether they had enough food and clothing. The Gospel of John recorded that during the wedding at Cana, Jesus performed the miracle by turning the water into wine, as the opening of his preaching life in public. The connotation of Jesus’ missionary work is based on the heavenly kingdom as the core. Nevertheless, the power of exorcism and healing are the distinguishing features of Divine Mercy. In fact, when Jesus sent his disciples to go out and preach, He gave them the power of exorcism and healing. Please listen to an event that happened to Peter before Jesus’ Ascension: “Now Peter and John were going up to the temple area for the three o'clock hour of prayer. And a man crippled from birth was carried and placed at the gate of the temple called "the Beautiful Gate" every day to beg for alms from the people who entered the temple. When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked for alms. But Peter looked intently at him, as did John, and said, "Look at us." He paid attention to them, expecting to receive something from them. Peter said, "I have neither silver nor gold, but what I do have I give you: in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean, (rise and) walk." Then Peter took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles grew strong. He leaped up, stood, and walked around, and went into the temple with them, walking and jumping and praising God. When all the people saw him walking and praising God,” (Acts 3:1-9) When people know how to praise and show their gratitude to the Lord, Jesus will most likely be very satisfied and content.
